Managed Azure Kubernetes Service

Applications are often placed in containers these days. This makes sense because this offers many advantages. For example, containers share their operating system and resources with each other. This makes it a very (cost) efficient solution. You can also easily reuse, update, and move containers. It’s the ideal way to develop quickly. 

If you work a lot with containers, you will soon reach a point where you need a reliable platform to manage and deploy all your containers. That platform is Kubernetes. This is where VMs or servers are joined together to form a cluster. Properties such as storage, networking, and scheduling are assigned to it. These properties are automatically, and economically, distributed across the VMs or servers. 

Manually setting up a Kubernetes cluster is a complex job. It requires extensive knowledge and experience in Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes. Once you have succeeded, there is no guarantee that it will be a success. After all, the cluster must also be maintained. Think about performing updates and extensions. And what if a failure occurs?
